Dear Players!

Today we have a small but very important update. As you remember, previously we made several improvements and corrections for the breeding system, which made the foal's body shape and weight equally depend on both parents. Even though this change made the inheritance system more realistic, it also added a lot of inconvenience for the players, because since the body shape of the father horse could only be observed visually, it became much more difficult to breed foals of a certain weight. We are happy to tell you that we have solved this problem and now the weight of both parents will be displayed directly in the breeding system in the "Horse Lineage" panel! This panel opens when you right-click on a horse from the list in the breeding system.

And the reason why this update is so important is because it is the first time we managed to add an new information field to the game interface. If this change works correctly, it will mean that we will be able to add many other dynamic user interface elements to the game. In particular, we also plan to add information about the height of the horse (for example, "Height at the withers"), because for many players it is the height of the horse that is important, while the weight of the horse is only used for approximate estimation of the height.

We also think that it is important to display information about how much a certain feature matches for a horse and its ancestors. For the coats it is already implemented in the game using coat lineage parameter from +1 to +9. Similarly, with just one number, it is possible to characterize other features of a horse (for example, "color of the mane +5" or "type of the tail +7"), which would provide useful information about how much the appearance of a horse matches the appearance of its ancestors. Considering that the whole visible ancestry of the parent horse influences the inheritance of these features, this would help players more reliably estimate the chances of getting a foal with a particular mane or tail.

By the way, considering that some of the previous Easter updates were released with a delay, we decided to extend the Easter event for another 2 weeks!
